 Last week’s PCE data came in inline with expectations, but showed signs of stickiness and a slight uptick across different measures. The market has a 66% chance of a cut priced in for the December 18th meeting, with only a 25% chance of a cut in January. Even Super Dove, Austan Goolsbee, acknowledged last week that the pace of rate cuts may need to slow given resilient growth and somewhat sticky inflation.
